The upcoming pictures are going to be in my queue starting tomorrow. College finally started for me!

Pictures are going to be of:

  • The rest of my cruise trip: Greece, Italy, Turkey
  • My one year of pictures in Portugal
  • Spontaneous trip in Madrid last year
  • Barcelona pictures I never uploaded
  • The beautiful islands of Outerbanks, North Carolina

I apologize

for the lack of updates. I’M IN NORTH CAROLINA NOW! Finally moved in to my new apartment last week, but still missing Portugal and Europe in general. I still don’t have my own internet which explains the lack of posts from my last trip (Italy, Spain, Greece, and Turkey).  I’m going camping next! I’m still trying to get a little settled and finding things from craigslist and freecycle. Expect a lot of things in July! So please hang in there a little. I’ll try to organize my Tumblr much better once I get my internet set up. HELLO EVERYONE. I hope everyone is doing great and keeping themselves busy during this hot weather.

Back in Rome. Being awkward as usual.

Be Right Back

Going on a really huge boat to go to Italy, Greece, and Turkey.  Itinerary will be posted when I come back. I’M EXCITED!

I went to the mall with friends to day in hopes of buying myself some new things, but I couldn’t afford anything so all I got was a book from FNAC. It’s Around the World in Eighty Days & Five Weeks in a Balloon by Jules Verne. Yes, that’s right; two books in one for just 3.09 euros. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this book and I’ve actually met the coolest couch surfer who’s doing Around the world in eighty MONTHS. So I’ll be bringing this book to my trip!

With Easy Jet’s strict rule of just one hand-carry (counting purses and laptops), I would say I’ve became pretty creative with packing and trying to fit everything. That, in fact, is an upside down floppy hat.

The good things:
(1) Yesterday was my birthday (2) On Friday, it will be me and my boyfriend’s 3rd year anniversary (3) I’m officially a scholar at North Carolina State University this fall (4) I will be going on a one week cruise to Southeast Europe in two weeks (5) It is going to be my third time in Italy and first time in both Greece and Turkey (6) Tickets to NC have been booked (7) Camping plans for July are coming together (8) A friend of mine just gave me his 3 year old Canon S5IS (9) I scored a goal in futebol today, which has never happened in my life because I would just usually trip over the ball
The not so good things:
(1) I have less than a three weeks left in Lisbon (2) Being the awesome procrastinator, I’m extremely stressed (3) I still need to find an apartment (4) I have to do a 45 minute presentation in front of the whole school at the end of this month, in a language that I just learned a couple of months ago (5) The amount of packing I have to do (6) There is not enough time in a day (7) Finding out that season 8 will be the last season of Grey’s Anatomy
